Privacy Policy

The Paraninfo Institute processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation), OJ L 119, 4.5.2016.

1 · Data controller

Henry Martin Kurwahn (Paraninfo Institute), VAT IT 03061010900, Via Ugo La Malfa 52, 07100 Sassari, Italy.

2 · What we collect and why

When you request admission or membership we collect only the data you provide in the form — name, contact details, the programme of interest and any professional background you choose to share. We process it on the lawful bases of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and the steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), solely to process your application, communicate admission and payment details, and — with your consent — keep you informed about the Institute's programmes.

3 · Data minimisation

We ask only for what the question requires. We do not collect payment-card data (payment is by SEPA transfer after admission), and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

4 · Retention

Application data is kept only as long as necessary for admission and any resulting enrolment, and thereafter for the periods required by Italian tax and civil law. You may request erasure at any time, subject to those duties.

5 · Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

6 · Processors

Transactional email is handled by Resend (resend.com) as a processor; the Orbis platform runs on the Institute's own server. Both process data solely on the Institute's instructions.
