About this programme
The Institute's flagship field: the care, dignity and science of a life well-lived into old age. Home to the APAM professional pathway, gerontological management, applied bioethics, and continuous professional refreshers led by a corps of retired expert volunteers.
Professional Refresher in Gerontology for Latin America forms part of this school's pathway. It is taught in ES and referenced to the European Qualifications Framework. Its workload — 40 hours, approximately 1.6 ECTS — follows the European convention of 25 hours per credit, covering guided instruction, independent study and assessment.
Certification
On completion you receive a Paraninfo micro-credential referenced to the EQF, in the sense of the European Council Recommendation of 16 June 2022 (2022/C 243/02). It is a professional qualification, not an academic degree.
